Peter Cocchia, PRIME CFO founder, has more than 25 years of CFO leadership and financial management experience in both public and private companies ranging in size from start-up to over a half billion in annual revenues. He has provided CFO level financial management to business owners of companies in technology, real estate, construction and a wide range of other industries. 

Peter has experience managing all corporate finance, tax and treasury functions at the executive level and has a proven track record in strategic planning and organizational leadership, budgeting and forecasting, cost and cash management, process design and productivity improvement, contract negotiation and strategic relationships, team building and performance improvement. In addition, he has led the transformation of companies with technological improvements, streamlining business operations and realizing significant cost savings in the process.

Peter has provided financial management on hundreds of construction and commercial real estate development projects enabling PRIME CFO to tailor its financial services uniquely for real estate developers and construction companies. He was a key member of the executive team responsible for acquiring, developing, financing and managing commercial office, retail, hospitality, multifamily and condominium projects on a national level.

He has also served as CFO of more than a dozen venture backed and private investor backed start-ups. He is experienced with deal structure, building an infrastructure from the ground up, board presentations and mergers and acquisitions.

Peter is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) and a member of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA).
